The new Scout version 10.5-2 has been released. It contains new functions and support for new hardware. You will find a complete description at the following links

• Supports new license model eLux Lite (release feb 2009)
• Supports VPN PPTP
• DCHP client uses last network configuration if DHCP server sends FAIL
• DCHP client requests new tag 225 (vendor tag 5) as Scout OU password
• Supports Wyse V50L(E)
• Can on demand transmit diagnostic files to Scout
• WLAN driver support enhanced (additional WLAN driver package available)
• Starter: VPN configuration fields can be disabled by security settings
• Starter: RDP session can be defined with 32 bit colour depth (requires rdesktop-1.5.0.3-1)
• NFS port mapper can be disabled in terminal.ini

NEXtreme-I & eLux RL

NEXterminal releases the most powerful terminal until now. After one year of negotiation we have been able to sell a modified version of the HP5735 in all countries of EU. To tell the story short.. NEXTermial is the only place where you can combine the HP hardware with the eLux RL, The device comes with 3 years standard warranty from HP. (please refer to HP warranty for HP 5735 terminal). The NEXtreme-I also is out first device with our new generation of eLux : eLux ReLoaded.

eLux is expected to support NEXstation III (memory upgrade required) and forward as well as DesigNEX-II and the NEXlaptop-III and all later models. This also means the NEXstation I + II as well as NEXlaptop i +II will be “left behind” on elux NG platform. As previous mentioned the eLux NG will be supported/upgraded until 31 dec 2010.
