90% of all customers “only” use Citrix or Terminal server.  We have created the simple image maintained by NEXTerminal. By creating this image we are able to reduce the cost and simplify the maintenance of the software image. The elux Lite contain a standard set of eLux RL packages that has been determined by NEXTerminal. The packages is set from NEXTerminal and can not be changed by the customer unless the customer upgrades to the full eLux RL and scout package. NEXTerminal will from time to time make new releases on this application set. This can then be downloaded to each terminal using the Scout software. Remeber when ordering that u will have 25 free scout licences when downloading scout.  

The eLux Lite is ideal for installations that has the same set up for all terminals, or customers that do not want to spend the time in advanced configuration of eLux and scout on each new release. Customers still controls which firmware release that go to the terminals. NEXTermial just create these images , and make them available via the web. The eLux lite will be fully functional in jan 2010. 

With eLux RL you get access to the full suite pf clients and applications , such as Java , VM ware View, home made applications via eLux Builder kit etc. 

 The eLux RL and Scout is for organisations that doesn’t follow mainstream or for organisations that has many different hardware platforms and software configurations and servers. Or simply because you need more applications than is defined in the eLux lite image.
